DESCRIPTION

Size: HALF GALLON

Color: rich BLUE-GREEN

Closure: push-down style grooved ring wax sealer mouth with a sheared and ground inner lip

Appearance: crude, seedy and sparkling glass, that is extra heavy in weight

Condition: one chip on the inner lip as shown

Embossing: strong

Base: unmarked

Age: 1860's

Availability: scarce and a great looking example with unusually heavyweight glass which further enhances the color
