DESCRIPTION

Size: QUART

Color: AQUAMARINE

Closure: original glass lid and original pivoting brass strap clamp

Appearance: crude, seedy, whittled and sparkling glass

Condition: flaking of the ground mouth all around, probably from the manufacturing

Strength of embossing: strong

Base: unmarked

Age: late 1800's

Availability: scarce with this degree of glass character, these jars are normally rather plain
