Availability: Scarce. Made in a special run at the Ball Bros plant in Wichita Falls, Texas circa 1934. The jars were intended to benefit the orphanage during the tough times of the Great Depression. The jars were distributed individually to many local farms and homesteads, with a request to fill the jars during normal fall canning to help supply food for the orphanage.
