DESCRIPTION
Size: ONE GALLON
Color: AQUAMARINE
Closure: fine original unmarked zinc cap with an unmarked milk glass liner
Appearance: shiny glass
Condition: normal flaking of the ground mouth
Embossing: strong, and note that the Hero Cross is superimposed over the middle of a peened out line of lettering that originally read "THE PEARL"
Base: unmarked
Age: late 1800's
Availability: Scarce oversize jar and a beautiful example. The caps are rarely found, and most often are in rough shape, whereas this lid is in fine condition.
