Cay and Erv Bettinghaus of Lakewood, Colorado have commissioned North American Glass to dispose of their entire, 25-year collection of fruit jars. The Bettinghaus's were long-time members of the Midwest Antique Fruit Jar Club, Jelly-Jammers and were highly-active collectors for many years. This amazing & large collection spans virtually all jar collecting categories...with colored jars, rare jars, odd closure jars, jelly jars, stoneware jars, midget pint jars, rare Ball jars, 1858 jars, Atlas jars, Canadian jars, Australian jars, European jars, and etc....a comprehensive collection to say the least, and exceeding 2000 quality items. The collection will be dispersed on eBay (hoosierjar) and via absentee auction on the North American Glass website. There is no pre-set schedule at this time. But if you are a registered bidder on North American Glass, you will be sent an email notifying you in advance of upcoming sales events on that venue.
