DESCRIPTION
Size: QUART
Color: AQUAMARINE
Closure: sheared mouth for a drop-on tin cap or drop-on glass cap
Appearance: shiny glass, the center of the base is slightly bulged-out, and has 3 foam pads on the base so as to sit level
Condition: no damage other than the usual roughness and flaking around the sheared mouth, there is a small manufacturing defect with a tiny lump of glass protruding inside the jar that has a tiny reflective feature in it.
Base: unmarked
Age: 1860's
Availability: rare, similar to Redbook listing 598, except this unlisted version has a sheared mouth instead of the usual threaded neck
