Closure: original tiny size Lightning style glass lid and original wire clamp assembly

Condition: no damage including a good ground mouth with very little nicking

Base: "PUTNAM 437"
Age: late 1800's
Availability: uncommon, these appealing little jars, while often referred-to by collectors as "Salesman Samples", were more than likely small product jars
