DESCRIPTION

Color: BALL BLUE
Closure: original clear glass insert with 1900 patent date, and rare original iron screw band in fine shape with traces of original finish
Appearance: shiny
Condition: flaking on the smooth mouth
Strength of embossing: strong, note that this version was made in a reworked Ball Perfect Mason mold, with the removed lettering still recognizable
Base: patent dates encircling a "6"
Age: early 1900's
Availability: rare with original closure, especially the metal ring
