DESCRIPTION
Size: HALF GALLON
Color: HONEY AMBER
Closure: a dark amber unmarked glass insert lid and a zinc screw band
Appearance: sparkling
Condition: no damage including a nice ground mouth with very little flaking
Strength of embossing: very strong
Base: "D" over a "2"
Age: late 1800's
Availability: Scarce. Most likely this mold was made by Moore Bros of Clayton, NJ, owing to the front lettering style and the base mold number configuration.
